I´m down for it, this is my first english post, and I couldn't be more excited! Last wednesday was literally one of the best days of my life and the experience I went through with the people I love made me happy and perked me up after an emotional roller coaster (my vacation trip to Spain). Today I´m just going to tell you what I did and how easy is for us to change the course of the day by just thinking different and being positive.

I woke up at 6.50 am, I had a warm shower and ,while outside the door the temperature was really cold, I was enjoying a glass of hot milk with some scrambled eggs. I got ready quickly and I headed to EF, they day was cloudy, rainy and really windy. I was feeling a bit under the weather because I had been missing my friends all night long and also it´s very typical for me to wake up in a bad mood. As soon as I finished my classes, my friends and I went to a japanese restaurant in order to have some sushi, and we were wondering if a walk in the lakefront would be nice besides the awful weather, Abdu (one of my best friends here) end up uttering "We are young man, let´s do it" so we got on the train and after 4 stops we found us walking in Lincoln Park straight to the Lake. And, even though the path was empty of people, we felt like we were in the middle of a crowd, we felt free walking by that lake, we started singing, dancing, running against the wind, taking pictures and realizing how lucky we were to be there. Sometimes it´s funny seeing how time goes by and this trip has helped me to understand that friendship is really important and that we don't know what we have until we lose it, so my advice for you today is... seize the moment! Embrace your fears and have fun with your friends because we don't know, maybe tomorrow the world ends and you are there, complaining about life. You´d better stand up and live to the fullest!
